Mission Commemorates Anniversary

The High Commission commemorated Uganda’s 42nd Independence Anniversary on October 9, 2004 at Hotel Intercontinental, Nairobi.

In his remarks, H.E. Brig. (Rtd) Matayo Kyaligonza observed that Uganda and Kenya enjoy excellent relations, that will continue to flourish under the dynamic leadership of President Mwai Kibaki and the NARC government.

The government of Kenya was represented by Hon. Amos Kimunya, Minister for Lands and Housing.

Hon. Kimunya congratulated the Government and people of Uganda on attaining 42 years of independence and re-affirmed the NARC Government’s commitment to strengthening further the bilateral and regional relationship within the East African Community.
