Uganda delegation meets ECK A government delegation led by Hon. Daudi Migereko, Minister of State, met the Chairman of the Electoral Commission of Kenya (ECK), Mr. Samuel Kivuitu and Senior officials of ECK on November 24, 2003. The purpose of the meeting was to compare the electoral systems in both countries with a view to adopting best practices. Uganda is particularly interested in drawing lessons in conducting of elections under a multiparty system. Hon. Migereko congratulated the Chairman of ECK
for conducting the General Elections of 2002 so successfully as
to make Kenya a model of democratic and peaceful transition.
