President Invites South African Investors

President Museveni addressed a Uganda Business Forum, on September 08,2002 at the
ESKOM Conference Centre in Johannesburg.

The Forum was organised by ESKOM, South Africa 's leading energy Corporation and the South African Department of Trade and Industry. The President extended an invitation to South African investors and assured them that the Uganda government had laid a firm
framework for investment and trade.

He pointed out that the main areas of investment include energy, agriculture, agro processing, fish processing, horticulture, mineral prospecting and tourism.
