Uganda /DRC Sign Agreement

Presidents Yoweri Museveni of Uganda and Joseph Kabila, of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), met in Luanda, on September 06,2002 at the invitation of President Eduardo dos Santos of Angola. the DRC, Mr. Amos Namanga Ngongi, also attended the meeting that culminated in the signing of an Agreement between the governments of Uganda and the DRC, and normalization of relations between the two countries.

The two Heads of State expressed their gratitude to their host, the government and the people of Angola. The Third Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon. James Wapakabulo and other senior government officials accompanied President Yoweri Museveni.
